OUR VISION

Our vision is to raise a new generation of men and women committed to God with a deep and Christo-centric understanding of the Scriptures and who are able to refute ancient and new heresies, to influence their society with Christ-like integrity, to equip the believers with sound doctrine for Christian service, and finally to finish their race in ministry with the assurance of having faithfully served the Lord Jesus Christ.

OUR MISSION

Praxis exists to provide church leaders and lay people interested in theological education with a reformed theological training aimed at bringing practical transformations in their own lives and society for the glory of Christ.

OUR APPROACH

Praxis has a strong emphasis on practice, that is, the ability to influence our society in the day to day life. For this purpose, we do not only focus on the intellectual quality of the teaching, which we believe must be both biblically sound and contextually informed but also we aim at demonstrating the relevance of biblical teaching in addressing contemporary issues and encouraging our students to purposefully engage in making a difference in their life context. This approach stems from the deep conviction that Christ meant the Christian to be the light of the world and not only a person on his way to heaven.

Every attempt of influencing the society around us emerges from a worldview shaped by a theological view or persuasion of some sort. And Praxis wants to make sure that that theological dimension must be Christo-centric in order to glorify God, which is the purpose of creation. A theology that does not translate into influencing the world around us for the glory of Christ has defeated its purpose. This purpose is ultimately described as the manifestation of love. Obviously, this requires a high view of both the Scriptures, God, and humanity.
